Jeremy Rubin

His vast expereince in bringing major events to the city of Atlanta including the 2002-present SEC Football Championship, 2007 and 2008 SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament, 2003 NBA All-Star Game, 2005 Nokia Sugar Bowl, 2007 and 2013 NCAA Final Four, 2009 ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament and 2011 WWE Wrestlemania, makes him uniquely qualified in event management, production and sales. Rubin was also involved in Atlanta and US bids for 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cup, and in Rubin’s eleven years at the ACVB, he secured close to two million room nights for the city of Atlanta while he was the sales manager for national accounts with the primary responsibility of selling and marketing the hospitality community in the city of Atlanta. Rubin’s key clients included the SEC, ACC, NCAA, Cheersport, USA Volleyball, US Fencing, FIRST Robotics, and other national governing bodies.

In 2003, Tournament Magic was wooed by Jeremy Rubin to come to the city of Atlanta. Well, Rubin’s “get it done” nature and his contagious optimism worked once again. The Big South National Volleyball Qualifier ended up in Rubin’s city. For seven years, Rubin and the youth sports production company worked tirelessly to assure that Tournament Magic’s Big South was an event that Atlanta could be proud of.

In the spring of 2011, Tournament Magic hired Rubin as their first full time employee. Rubin is the vice president of business development for the company and their four national volleyball events. Having formed Synergies21 in 2013 to continue in the same initial role, Rubin and Synergies 21 are now responsible for developing new business partnerships for the series of national girls club volleyball events, as well as implementing sales and marketing efforts for those partners.

In Jan of 2014, Rubin started Synergies21, to help clients further develop all aspect of event planning. From hotel and convention center contracts, to sponsorship and exhibit sales, Synergies21 offers one stop agency support.

A WORD FROM OUR CLIENTS

  • Jeremy Rubin is one of the sales people that taught me the most. His ability to connect with clients is unequaled. The biggest lesson he shared with me is that customers want to work with genuine and caring people--not folks that are stodgy and strictly professional.

Jeremy also knows how to work on a team. In fact, he will help the team to achieve revenue goals no matter what the obstacle may be.

Finally, he is someone that you can always depend on. No matter how busy he may be, he is always willing to take a call and help.

  • Jeremy was and is always a pleasure to work with. He has a positive get-it-done attitude that is infectious. He gives 110% every minute of the day to ensure his work is top-notch and his clients and colleagues feel appreciated.
